ANTON VAN KRIEKEN

• Anton matriculated 1990 from Hoërskool Brandwag.
  
• He graduated in 1994 from RAU with a B. Optom degree.
  
• He worked for 3 years in various practices and gain valuable experience before buying the practice in December 1997.
  
• In 2002 he completed a Certificate in Advanced Studies (CAS) in Diagnostic Procedures.
  
• “I thoroughly enjoy serving people and making a difference in their lives. Nothing makes me happier than a satisfied patient.”
  
• In his free time Anton enjoys the outdoors, 4x4’s, hiking, traveling and spending time with his family.
  
• Anton has been happily married to Alida for 14 years, they have 3 kids.
  
• Anton has special interests in the visual development of children, ocular pathology and multifocal lenses.

HILDIE BOTHA

• Hildie matriculated in 1993 as Victrix Lodorum with 7 distinctions from Hoer Volkskool , Heidelberg
• In 1997 she graduated from RAU with a B.OPTOM degree.
• She was in full time practice for 12 years at Paul Gluckman Optometrists – Bracken City
• Hildie gave up full time practice and is now a locum optometrist in order to have more quality time with her family and still be able to live out her passion for optometry.
• Her free time activities include nature rambling, camping, scuba diving and reading. She let het creativity run wild with scrapbooking, embroidery and making lace.
• Hildie is a brilliant optometrist with excellent people skills . “I’m passionate about people and passionate about science. Isn’t Optometry the ideal way to go!”
• She likes to feel her patients left the practice with vision and Vision of life.

LEZA SHORTT

• In 2003 Leza matriculated from Hoerskool Hoogenhout in Bethal.
•  She graduated in 1997 from RAU with a B. Optom degree.
• She worked in various practices in Mpumalanga for 5 years before joining the team at Eyeland in 2003.
• Since 2005 she has been working at Eyeland on a parttime basis.
• 'I enjoy my time spent at Eyeland. Eyeland is a practice that maintains a personal touch while offering a professional service.'
• Leza and Alva have been married for 11 years and have three children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family,  gardening and reading. 
• Within the sphere of optometry Leza's interests include paediatric optometry and contact lens fittings.

She has more than 9 years experience in optometry and will go of her way to give you the best service.

LIZEL KOTZE (Bookkeeper and admin)

Lizel has been with us from the start and has more than 20 years experience in Optometry.

TONY GROBLER (Dispensing technician)

Tony has been with us for more than 5 years and highly skilled and experienced in fitting lenses and dispensing.
